What i'm trying to do is identify a part on my Farmall H (I think its a 51) Ok, you know place where you screw your hydrolic hose on to? Well those three pipes run to this thing underneith the tractor that is shaped sorta like an L, that is this piece that i'm talking about called? Is that the pump? Also where is the drain plug for they fluid, i'm wanting to take off that one piece was I walking about above so I can change the gasket so it'll stop leaking, but I need to know the part so I can find out what gasket I need. I hope i didn't confuse you guys to much :(

Danny, The 3 pipes are screwed in to the L shaped thing you are talking about. That is the hydraulic pump. Your problem is most likely a seal rather than a gasket. 4 pipes have to come out, 1 on top 1 on right side, 2 on left side, shaft that drives the pump has to come out. Pump is heavy so get some one to help you. Once it is on the ground you can get a better idea of what you have. Hope this helps Boyd

When you unscrew the 3 pipes, look and see if maybe one of them may be cracked at the threads which I have run into. Can be leaking there but usually only under pressure.
