Oil Pump Rebuild - Parts?

I am rebuilding my "44 H and hope to get it into "like new" condition. After opening up the oil pump, I found all the tolerances are to spec except the gear backlash (manual calls for 0.006 and I have 0.012 in. of clearance). I thought a new idler gear would bring it closer but IH dosen"t support any of the oil pump gears any longer. Does anyone know of a NOS source I might check?

I just went through the same thing. I ended up buying a new pump for $200. If you go to the farmall H sight, there are some suppliers listed there that have pumps as well as parts. I found that the rod that drives the gears was worn at the bottom. Push the gear side ways, it should not move. The bottom plate also tends to wear. Hope that helps!
