Hi guys. The other day I bought a live hydraulic pump off a 350. This will fit on my M in front of the distributer won't it? And if so, does anybody have the flange with the two hoses, one pressure, one return that bolts to the pump? Looking to buy that piece if I can find it. Thanks. (Howdy Allan)

Mornin' Allen,

Say, if you can't use it, I might be interested in that pump. Email is uncovered.

Thanks,

Allan

greetings - use the link to see what i did to a h. i beleive it will be in last album labled special features.
Link
i put a live pump on a 45 H. had to use the front engine cover from a 300/350 for pump to fit. it can be done without changing cover but for me it looked better. one bolt does not line up in original. some put bolt in cover/cut it clean/redrill to center of pump hole and thread new place. i even built a 7 gallon oil tank for system.

350 pump won't fit the M. You need a super M 400 or 450 Pump. 350 fits the H. Steel Wheel Ranch has all the parts to put live on you M. Just did it to mine and got the pump from them. Works great

If you plan to use the hydraulics much, consider changing the drive gears as well. I understand the live hydraulics tractors had srtonger gears to carry the additional load and you may have trouble if you just change the pump.

Someone wants your pump!
