I am having problems with my Hydro 100. It was working fine and then it just quit one day. The tractor would not move. Split the tractor, replaced the pump, some valves and O rings and it worked fine. The tractor sat for a few months and then started it up and it would not move. Any experts out there that can help? The tractor has been taken care of quite well, oil and filters changed, etc.

Pete we need to start with the easy stuff. Do you have power steering, brakes, do you have hydraulics and hitch. See if the hitch will come up, see if the remote hydraulic lever will put load on engine, and PTO the only thing with the PTO if tou don't have PTO then I would say the flex plate that drives everything. If you have none of these then could be the oil suchion tube or some part of the suchion side of the hydraulics. If you have some of the things then I would think the filter and suchion side ok and Flex plate ok. Did you check the flex plate when you split the tractor. If you have hydraulics and PTO. It could be the foot and inch valve that is the valve the left peddle operates, it could be bad. Just some ideas.

Hi Pete,

The tractor was working perfectly the last time you used it and now it just simply will not move after setting for many months?

This has gotta be an air or drainback problem, don't you think? I really doubt if it is anything serious.

But, I'm just guessing too,

Allan
