Hi,

I recently posted a question about boom mowers and was impressed by how fast you guys answered it, so here I am again.

I can't find any other manufacturer than ALAMO (and its subsidies Tiger, Rhino and McDonnel) to sell offset boom or shoulder mowers nationwide, or which is at least regionally big.

If you know any other one i'd be glad to hear his name.

Many thanks in advance.

Mathieu

Hi, Schulte builds a boom mower too. They use those boom mowers here in MD for mowing steep
banks along state highways and county roads. They had problems with tractor rollovers and this solved the problem.

They may use 2 of these boom mowers if the banks are real steep and use a regular mower to cut the lower end and they do it with one pass.
This is so traffic isn't affected so much. Hal

Edwards Manufacturing in Yakima Washington makes a variety of mowers and spray configurations. They've been around for quite awhile and the quality is pretty decent but I'm not sure of how they compare in price. Anyway, their number is 800.452.5151 and request the latest catalog. Unless the catalog is complete and has everything they make, be sure to have them include a COMPLETE set of line sheets. I haven't seen a website for them yet.
