Hello, I just bought a set of front bearing kits for my Farmall H. The felt that goes behind the rubber seal seems to be too big to fit in the hub assembly. Anyone had this trouble before? Also should I oil the felts before I put the hub on? Another question, the kit did not come with the cups that the rubber seal rides in. My IH dealer said they are no longer available, I havent found any on here either. Any information would be greatly appeiciated. Thank you.

I have IH kit # 361294R93 that I didn't get a chance to install yet on my Farmall H (Still in box). It contains 2 bearings, 1 oil seal, 1 gasket , 1 retainer and instructions.

DT, I just bought the complete set from the Case IH dealer a couple months ago and it came with the complete set of bearings, gasket, seals (rubber and felt), and the cups that go inside the wheel casting the the seal rides on. My felt seal fit tight also, but I got it together. I ususally oil the felt seals, but maybe some others may want to comment. Roger

They are dust seals, seems to me that oil would attract more dust.
