I'd also have to recomend Brillman. Very good quality, good instructions, all the end points were tagged and labeled. On the one snag i hit he answered his phone on a saturday evening and helped me thru it!!

dale, It depends on how close to original you want the harness to be. Anyone can make up a wiring harness for functionality, but if you are restoring your tractor you may want something to match the original. I find that Agri-Services in Alden N.Y. comes as close to original as anyone. They use the same color coded wire and braided shroud, as well as correct connectors. Their phone number is (716) 937-6618. They"ll need the year or serial# as would anyone else since the harnesses varied from year to year depending on where the voltage regulator was mounted. They did one for my "H", and it came out perfect.

As John in CT said, I got my braided wire from Brillman.com. You can buy the bulk wire from them and make your own harness a LOT cheaper than paying the $95 they want for an H harness, though.
Good luck.

I got a main wiring harness from IH, it looks close to origional (but didn't get a chance to take an exact look yet.) I will install it in the next few weeks. I got the rear light and front headlight harness from Brillman, they look good. The rear armored cable looks like the origional (flat armor). The IH front headlight cable isn't braded (I got that one too from IH). When I install them in the next couple of weeks I will be able to tell you if they are exact. I have origional cables on my H that are in pretty good except for a few areas that had to be taped up.

There are several sites on the web providing harnesses, I don't have them at hand, but you can do a Google search and find them. Most seem to be horribly over-priced, especially for the simplicity of the wiring involved. If you have a wiring diagram for your H (just request one from Bob M here if you need one), you would be good money ahead fabricating your own. Original-like loom is available and I will check my file at my office tomorrow and post back where I got my wire from for my Super C.
