Hi, I have a few questions about getting my Cub back to new condition. Roughly how many gallons of paint does it take? Does anyone have a link to a site that shows step by step the restoration process. It only needs painted, and some cosmetic features, the engine was rebuilt last year. I know it should have been painted during that time, but it just recently came under my control. So any advice and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Restored a H and only used 2 qts of paint thru out hole tractor being red paint. pint of silver for rims .if the tin is pitted sand blast and use eching red primer to stop rust and then use hibuild primer sevral times.wet sand with 600 grit then paint will give you alot better finish. paint tin first can use a single stage so no clear is needed.while tractor is on blocks paint chassie rims off of hubs .let dry 24 hours before you put back to getther small parts will have to be painted seprate like lights brackets anything small ect... will take time but will look great after you are finished . take your time it will all come together in time . have fun !
