Man am I having a bad day!! I droped the pan on my w4 or H type motor, and I can't get the oil pump out. Once the bolts are out it should just drop down I think? Am I missing something? What to do?

Thanks Bob

Bob use a large pair of offset plyers and try twisting the pump. I had one on an H that was stubborn to get out. Once removed, wire brush the casting end on the pump and check for any burrs before re-installing.

Bob The oil pump is the first place I would look. Some times the end plate get bad on them and leaks, make sure the relief valve is good. The cam bushings don,t go bad to ofton but then this tractor is 60 years old, who can say.

Bob two cap screws in the pump after you remove the pan should do it.
