I have had some trouble with my carb on my 560. The tractor runs very rich even with a $150.00 carb kit from I.H. I set the float to I.H. spec's.

The idle circuits may still be plugged up, they are located under the venturi in the throttle body of the carb. There is a small brass jet in the air passage in this area, that is your air vent passage for the idle, if it runs rich all the time, the idle circuit is plugged, and what it is doing is running off the main jet. Thanks Chad. I have had trouble with two different carbs. The venturi is loose on the org carb part #367259R92. The other carb did the samething part #367259R91. I had the head off last fall. I used the tractor this May with know problems. Then I started it in late June & it was running rich & sounded like it was missing. The engine is tuned up to the tee. mj
