Bought a six volt 1959 model 140 today with fast-hitch and scads of implements. The owner owned it 37 years and is selling because his 5 acre home and mini-farm is being converted into a 40 condominium site. The implements include front and rear cultivators, cultivator plows, a pair of hilling coulters, fast-hitch mounted Woods 59 mower, dual gang disk harrow, fast-hitch 5' wide cultivator, double bottom plow (14") and fast hitch snow plow. I'm going to use it for mowing a three acre field and garden. I was experiencing my childhood again. We had a 140 with many of these same implements when I was growing up.

Bill: Welcome back to the offset Farmall Club. With all those attachments you'll need another tractor though.

Hugh,
The Woods mower is a rear mounted fast-hitch unit which makes moving from mowing grass to disking a garden patch real quick and easy. When I saw that mower, I knew this was my ticket to ride. Had several chances to buy 140s/Super As with Woods belly mowers, but wanted: a: a fast-hitch, b) a rear-
mounted mower and c) a full set of cultivators. I'm ticked pink, er, RED with having all this Farmall stuff.

Little John,
Glad you have your Farmalll and love driving it around. Hey, that's what I'm going to be doing half the time with my 140!

Congrats! Get out there and enjoy. I wish I had something to do with my tractor, but now I just live in a small retirement house on a small lot and the tractor gets a workout by driving around the local roads!
