This morning checked out the cite to see if any new topics but none. So I decided to see what was on EBAY for tractors . there was a man selling a H and said it was a 39 looking there was a pictures of the tractor and a picture of vin tag and what do you think the first two numbers were? don"t these people know that they can go on line and find out what the year tractor really is. the thing is the tractor looked like it had been setting for along time half the tin was missing and the bid started at $50 with no reserve.

Couldn't find a 39, there is a 49 with the hood missing, serial number number he gives and the numbers I can make out on the tag indicate that it is a 1949. Bid is now $262 -- is this the one you saw, otherwise I don't understand your question.
