I have a 44 H with a standard (I4?) mag.
when it gets hot it stops sparking. Take the cap off spin the engine no spark. Let it cool completley and it will start again. I have replaced the points and condencer twice but still the same resuld. I recently installed a replacement mag and it works fine.

I am looking for a reccomendation on where to send to have it fixed, someone who can hopefully find this short that only happens when it is hot.

Thank You
Jon

swap the coils and see if the problem follows the coil. It sounds like the coil to me. ken
