Hi Vern, Gates doesn't have a cross reference match for that IH belt. Here's a toll free number for an IH dealer, you can order it from here and put it on a charge card and have IH drop ship it to your home in TX using UPS or FEDEX. Good Luck, Hal
PS: Here is the number 1-800-732-0017. Ask for farm equipment parts.

Hi Vern, Do you have a number on the old belt?
Can you measure the outside circumference of the old belt and the width? Our local IH dealer
couldn't find anything in his computer on the 2A Hay Conditioner. Call this toll free number
to see if they can locate your belt. It is 1-800-
732-0017. Hal

I hope this is right. I show 461312R1. I believe this is a flat/multi-v belt.

They are awful expensive. You might try these guys:

I never bought from them but have heard good of them.

Hi Jim, The way you describe this belt I believe
it may be a powerband. We used a lot of these on our equipment. They used matched sets of V-belts
before we heard of powerbands made by Gates. The V-belts would roll over and then screw up the
other belts causing them to jump off. I have IH
checking for a number on the belt. I'll post something when they call back. Thanks, Hal

PS: Vern's hay may get wet if he lives here on the east coast with Ivan moving in.

I guess the best way to describe the belt is to say that it is similar to the "fan" belts on most late model cars.

Hi Vern, IH called this morning with the same part number as James had. Call your local automotive parts store that sells Gates belts and they can cross reference it to their number. IH
would have to order it too. The price from IH is $67.00. Hal

Hi Vern, We could use some of that rain off of Ivan here in MD. I'm trying to get a cross reference on that belt from Gates. How many sheeves or grooves are in those pulleys on your hay conditioner? Is it flat like a web? Hal
