Can anyone tell me anything about this tractor? I do know they are British and were made between 1961 and 1966, but other than that don't know the hp or specs on the tractor...Live lift and PTO, power Steering???

Hi Franklin, I have a gas B-414, and it has been a good tractor. It has a dual stage clutch, this allows for live power. I have power steering on mine as well. The tractor is rated at about 35 h.p., give, or take a few. There were only about 6000 gas engine models produced, and about 29000 diesels made. I may off a few on my numbers but I think I am close. I run an 84 inch Buhler mower and a 7 ft Lorenz snow blower in mine. If you have, any other questions just let me know. As far as parts go, I have had very good luck so far with my local Case IH dealer.

Hi, had a B414 Diesel from 1962 til 1973. Was a good reliable tractor about 38 HP. Required glow plug starting year round and a block heater in the winter. Had live PTO and hydraulics. Add an IH 1501 loader and it was a great loader tractor until large round bales appeared in the fields.
Worst part was the brakes. They require annual cleaning.

My 2 cents
