I picked up an IH carb yesterday, and I am curious as to what it fits. The bowm looks just like an M, it has an idle stem and venturi that are large like a 450 carb, but the top half is different. There is no place in the back of it for an IH governor to attach to, tyhe mounting tabs are front to back, verses side-to-side like an M carb, and the top butterfly opens from front to back, inside of side to side like an M carb....anyone help me out?...thanks, andy

Thanks.....are the idle stem and venturi any better than a 450? BTW, how was Mentone? I pulled on a good power track, and came up a bit short, but still had fun. Sure wish I had Something Wilder's engine nestled between my framerails..... I will be doing some updating this winter....do you still have that 4" block?....AC

The metering stem is bigger over the 450, venturi is bigger, and it can take a bit of torque out of the engine, which aint a bad thing if you are not hooking to the ground. Yes still have the block. shoot me an email. ChadS
