I noticed that the gaskets in the head lights that keeps the water out of the light, as well as stopping the lens from ratteling, are disintegrated. I can't find a part num? Any ideas on what to use?

Its a 1950 W-4

Thanks Bob

I don't know about that model tractor, but I bought reproduction lenses and gaskets for my BN from Wengers a few years ago.

I made some seals or cushions for my 560 with black silicone. I ran a bead around the glass and laid the ring on it and let it set up over nite before installing it.

Bob, I got those rubber seals for an H and the part number was supposed to be correct, but the seals are thicker than the originals and they do not fit, I am going to have to check further, someone on this forum said John Deere dealers have the right gaskets for those lights as they were universally manufactured for several tractor companies....Mike in Exeter Ontario

I got mine from the local CaseNewHolland dealer. I think they are a couple bucks a piece - came in a CNH bag too... "Case New Holland original parts" - but my H is not Case or New Holland, so how can the parts be original?????

Just means that they are made to the old IH specs--usually.
