Plumbing in a Saginaw on a Super M

Ive got a question about plumbing in a Saginaw hitch and a 2001 loader in the future. The tractor has live power but I dont want to use the lever and valve setup in the reservoir unit. I was told I could put a Tee in line where the pump discarge hose goes into the res. and run it to a spool valve. The spool valve I got is a NO type meaning it reterns when in the center postion. Would this type valve work when I add another 2 spool valve and mount the loader in the future? Im a rookie on the hydrualics. Thanks

You want an open center 3 or 4 spool valve (1 for Saginaw, 2 for your 2001 assuming it has the hyd bucket tilt option, and an optional 4th spool for a remote). You want to put it in series with the high pressure line from the pump (smaller one). Pull that line off the reservoir, run it to the new valve's inlet, then run the new valves's outlet back to the reservoir input. That way you still have the valve in the reservoir if you want it.

Hey Stan thanks for the post. Will I need a "load rated" spool valve with a load check valve? I have read that some on not for lifting loads.

Haven't needed one myself, loads leaking down are usually more of a problem with OEM worn out valves rather than the new ones, but if this is to be used on a construction site with people walking under a fully loaded bucket of blocks it might be a little safer ;) (and easier to enforce than common sense...)
