Where are the best places to advertise tractors for sale? Trying to sell my restored Farmall BN with wide front on this site, not having much luck. Maybe because it's not 100% original, I don't know. It's a great running tractor, all gone thru, for $2,100 I think is a fair price. Anyway, I'm looking for other places to advertise.

I am in line with parking it outside with a sign. E-bay, atis.net, ytmag.com, etc....are all the same. These are guys who like tractors and know tractors. They go to the auctions/shows and, for the most part, want to pay auction prices.

Local guys can see the tractor for what it is and are more apt to pony up the cash.

You may want to try local classified ads. I have seen many restored tractors sell fairly high in the local Show'n'tell.

Just a thought as to maybe why. I don't even look at restored tractors. I either want to use it, which is tough on the restoration or work on it myself. I think a lot of guys here are going to be in that category. You need someone who wants to shed it and take it out for special...period. I'd park it out front with a sign.

Ray, I know what you are saying. I see the prices all over the place. I re-did this tractor from stem to stern and have all the receipts to prove what it is. Mines not original (wide front)
but I've also seen these priced upwards of $3,000.
I've seen guys buy junk for $1800.

I'm not an expert on buying and selling, but I would think you could try Red Power magazine and e-bay for start? Good luck.
