Could someone make this clear,the difference between a narrow tread and a regular trad F-20?

OK when talking about "narrow tread f-20",does that mean the back or front of the tractor?I.E> a wide front end.Or does it mean that there were some with a wider rear wheel measurement then some others?What did the narrow tread measure,in inches?Where does one start measuring from and where does one stop measuring at.Which is more sot after?Did I explain what I wanted to know better this time?
