stu: There were no factory front PTOs for the tractors you mention. One system of transfering PTO power was by hydraulic pump on PTO and using a hydraulic motor. For tractors that size it takes quite hefty hydraulic equipment. I had a setup for my 1066, not snow blower but other equipment, and it consisted of a Staffa 5 cylinder hydraulic motor and pump to match. It also had a tubular resovoir for cooling the oil, about 10" thick and 3' by 6'. It could transfer enough power to kill engine on 1066 at PTO speed. The pump was mounted and driven from 1000 RPM shaft.

I would think you could use lighter versions for a snow blower. If you go to a good hydraulic supplier, specify your power requirements, they could engineer you a system.
