I just noticed that my H clutch was not completely disengaging when the petal was pushed in. I tried to adjust the rod like the manual said so that there was the 1 inch of free play at the pedal. The problem got worse. I how have it adjusted the other way. No free play and the rod is almost all the way to the end. It does disengage and doesn’t slip but I am afraid that I have constant pressure on the throw out bearing. Any suggestions on how to adjust this or what to do? HELP!!

Pedal travel wise, how far up from fully depressed does the clutch begin to engage?

The pedel travels about a quarter to a third of the way out before the clutch engages. Would adjusting the fingers on the presure plate help?

Sounds to me like its time for a new clutch and pressure plate. My H is the same way I have adjusted the fingers inside also. I am just waiting for her turn in the rebuild pool to do the new clutch JON.

I agree with MagMan, It time for a new clutch. The pads are worn enough and cause the fingers on the pressure plate to come out.
