I've got a 43 H ythat has had a leak in the head gasket everysince I changed the block several years ago. I've had the head off a couple of times in the past and ground valves each time. I also had to change a couple of valves each time. I'm thinking since I have to take the head off to fix the head gasket and it will probably need some work before I put it back I may look at putting a rebuild head back. Anybody got recommendations where to get a reliable rebuilt head.

check the block and make sure that there are no deep scraches also check tork spect again also keep in mind that bolts will stretch after being tightened to many times before you buy a new head . you said after you changed the block thats when the problems started . good luck and let us know how it turned out.

Hi Charlie, Try these toll free numbers to see if they can supply a rebuilt head for your Farmall
H. The numbers are 1-800-843-3056 and 1-800-341-4028. Here is another place to check. 1-800-839-1992. Have you ever had your cylinder head magna-flux? This will tell you if there are any cracks
in your head and it just may need to be milled if it is warped. The problem may be in the block that you now using. Good Luck, Hal
