Well I finally got those pistons out of that block. I split enough wood today to make several fires. Two of the pistons came out with the sleeves I have to figure out how to get them out now. After getting a piston out and cleaned up I find that they are not M&W. It says W M W And A-1019 I am not sure if M&W made flat tops or not but they look to be a pretty good set for power they are long and heavy like the origenal metal ones. I have had several motors apart in my life but I have never seen pistons that fit in the sleeves so dang tight. JON

A-1019 is a clevite number. The piston is a flat top aluminum piston in 3-7/16" bore that uses two 3/32 compression rings, one 1/8" Compression ring, and one 1/4" oil ring.. The compression height on the piston is 2-1/2"

That is the distance from the center of the wrist pin to the top of the piston.
