How can I convert my H Farmall from a 6 volt to a 12 volt alternator? I can't find an alternator small enough to fit under the Hood.

You'll see that some people have used a Japanese alternator that is a bit smaller (and costs a bit more). I have one from NAPA parts if you should want to try that. I also saved a picture that someone generously put in the discussion. It shows a Delco generator with a pulley to adjust belt tension.
I can email that to you if you'd like to see it.

Lynn, I put one on a Super H a while back. Used a GM alternator. It's close, but it'll fit. You can use your origonal brackets. The belt will have to be exact right size because there's very little or no adjustment. I can get the belt size if you need it.

Check the articles section listed on the left of this screen. There will be an article there answering your question. Also do a search for Bob Melville's wiring diagrams in the Farmall archives. One of the more recent posts will have the URL to these diagrams which will show you how to wire the new alternator.
