My freind"s Super H boggs down and almost dies under a load. Carb was rebuilt last year, should be in good shape. Any ideas? What should the jets be set at to start? Thanks.

Set the main jet 5 turns out. It is NOT adjusted like the regular H. You can turn it in for better fuel economy, but turned in too far it will do as you describe.

Yeah, agree with that..... .....All the parts on the ignition system should be in good shape as well.

Crack open the high speed mixture screw a half turn and see if that helps. It might be running too lean.

Got rust in the tank? Maybe something partially plugging sediment bowl. Maybe the rubber hose from carb to air cleaner is seperated and partly choking it off. Hope this helps. Pat in Wisc
