Guys - - Have an opportunity to buy a BN with a bad clutch. Big project? Probably have to split the tractor to do this. Any words of wisdom on the task? What else should be done once I'm in that far? Thanx !

There are 2 frost plugs--replace both. If it is a BN buy it. Not that common and a neat tractor. Also easier to shift on a trailer than the wider B.

There is a soft plug behind the flywheel, inspect it, any doubt, replace it.

Not a hard job. I split my B by blocking up the rear end and picking the front off with an engine hoist.
While you"re in there replace all of it, disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing too.
