I was wondering How does the electronic conversions work? I know they do away with the points and condenser. But What if you have a worn cam shaft bearings in the distributor will you need new bushings or does the electronics take care of that to?? JON

Hi Chad I guess my main Question is do you make your own parts? Is there a place to obtain hi peformance parts? Would you have any Idea how far you can go and still use for farm aplication? I would imagine you have a costume Tranny as well?
Just a few questions off the top of my head.
JON

It uses a Hall effect magnetic pick up, there is a magnet rotor that slips over your existing distributor shaft, and the pick up is on the points plate. I would say that if the bushings are worn out, so is the mechanical advance unit. And should be replaced, but if you are talking about where the points made contact with the shaft, then no, no trouble, sisde to side play,, ehhhh,,,, might find another one,,, or replace the bushings,, ChadS
