Nwheels, Way back when(1975) the Boss`s nephew said his 1100 MF needed more power and ordered the complete turbo set up from MF. We put it on the dyno and it had 92hp,installed the kit and he ran it on the dyno on Sat. when the shop was closed and it had 92hp He was mad as all get out Monday till we turned up the fuel a little, we went to 130hp and backed it down to 115hp

Well I can only speak from the experience I have on turbo cars and motorcycles but usually it works this give or take a few hp. It is all dependent on boost pressure. The general rule is for every 12-14 pounds of boost you essentially double your hp. For example a 50 hp motor with 12-14 psi boost will make around 100 hp.

I heard of a IH 560 diesel with M&W turbo kit that would make 105 hp on the dyno. I bet it don"t last long at 105 hp.A diesel 560 is 59 pto hp stock.

You can probably turn up the boost to give you over 160hp. I doubt the engine will last long at that rate though.

depends on what he does it with, doing it right with the right engine it'll be ok whats behind the motor is what to worry about- don't ask about my dad spinning the 1066 while he slid down the hill, it wasn't pretty when the ta got pulled out of the casting
