Have vibration coming from rear of bell housing front of trans when i engage the clutch and shift into any gear. vibrates as long as its in gear with clutch engaged. does not do this when moving and clutch is disengage and in gear or in neutral with either clutch engaged or disengage.

i replaced clutch, release bearing, pilot bushing as well as the driveshaft about 2 years ago. release bearing is greased. vibration has recently started and appears to be getting mildly worse.

any thoughts?

thanks,

al

It seems to me that there is a yoke with bolts and rubber bushings just in front of the transmission on a C. I would suggest that you take a peek at them to make sure they are tight and not totally worn out.

I"ll betcha the pilot bearing failed... What would cause it, who knows, perhaps the tension on the pressure plate springs are out of balance
