I bought it for a 1966. I have no idea what model it is and dont really know what info to give you to help me. It has a six way blade @ 6ft long. Was originally a gas but now a diesel. The guy that is working on the engine says its a D166 or D188. I could not find that on some other sites and thought he may be talking about the engine. Any help? I'm looking for a repair manual and it would be a lot easier to find if I knew what I was searching for:)

The serial# tag should be on the right side of the bell housing below the fuel tank. Mine is hidden by the regulator.

Thanks. I think this was originally a gas burner though. My brother-in-law converted it to a diesel seveal years ago. I bought it at his suggestion and he is now working on it. He tore out all the electrical lines yesterday saying they were useless since he had converted it. I am brand new to machinery so bear with me; any suggestions where an ID number or serial number might be hiding.

The TD340 had a D-166 in it.
