Paul I grew up on the farm I still live on at Ash Grove. I learned to drive my uncle"s B, then Dad bought a Super A, Granddad had an H I only saw him drive it once, Three of the four boys stayed on the farm. We had a neighbor that bought a C new, and I thought that was the finest tractor I had ever seen. We used it to pull bundle wagons one year, and I fell in love with it. We later had two 230"s for several years.

Hey Jimmy, I will be out there at the show in Republic in Sept. Maybe we can hook up and I'll buy you a corn dog or something.Lol. You shouldn't talk up my tractors too much till you get up close. They look great from about 30 feet away. There will be many at the show that will put mine to shame. I may be your neighbor soon Jimmy. Just put a bid on a place between Bois D Arc and Springfield. That's getting pretty close to Ash Grove.

If I can come up with some $, we are tring to buy 12 acres. I know thats not much but it's 11 3/4 bigger than where I'm at now. The hard thing is we love out house and our neighbors, but we would both love to be in the country.

Hey, Paul I will try to find you at the show I will proably come on Fri, I think I am going to take my Mom and go to my daughter and son-in-law"s over the week end. I haven"t been to the show for a few years, seems like something else is always going on. My son used to come and stay with J. B. Graft when he had the Huber Engine, He learned a lot about steam engines from doing that.
