Hey fella"s, I"m getting my H ready for the fall fair tractor pull and need to know what the best oil to use in the rear end is and how much it takes (as I can"t remember). It hasn"t been changed in about 10 years. Thanks ! ---Jeff

Jeff, Walmart has 5 gal pails for about $27 as opposed to $80 at a dealers. You might discover a leak after you change it. One of my H's had a leaking seal in the drive shaft and the oil was down and had about a gallon of water in it. I drained it and changed it , filling it to where it was supposed to be and then I discovered the little drips coming off the belly pan..drained it down, replaced the seal and filled her back up and then it was right. Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario

Six gallons of a good grade of 90 weight is what the manual calls for. Good luck at the Fair,Chris in SeMo.
