Has anyone had any negative opinion of Galixy rear tires? I found 12.4x36 10 ply Galixy about the same price as 11.2x36 6ply Firestone. I'm going to use it to mow in rough pasture that has been let grow up in Mesquite & prickly pear. So the 10 ply seems like a good idea.

I put a set of Titans on the rear of my Super C two years ago. It sits inside and they show signs of cracking already. I am not a bit happy with them. The 50 year old tires that where on it must have been a lot better tire than the replacement. I saved around $100 over Firestones but it was a mistake.

I think a 12.4 is too much tire for a Super C. If it's rough, I would worry about the awkward stance of the SC and rolling over. Also, I think the 10 ply would be a pain in the _____ to mount.
I'm in NW Mo, and I've never heard of Galixy tires. See a lot of Firestones, and they're good tires.
Good luck

I agree, firestone tires are the best ag tire on the market especially the radials, well worth the extra cost.
