Yesterday while brush hoggin with Cmore, ran fine for two hours. Then all of a sudden, sputters and misfires. Took fuel line off to carb, plenty of gas, good blue fire at all plugs, and runs fine with choke almost all the way out, but won't run with choke in?? What could the problem be?? Piece of dirt in carb?? Thanks, Cmore

Yes, I'd say debris in the fuel system somewhere. Has happened to several times. The fact that it runs good when you make it richer(choke out) tells you it's a plugged fuel system.

Had a similar problem with my M. Sputtered with choke in but ran fine with choke out. Had good flow to the carb so I assumed it was the carb. I rebuilt the carb still sputtered. Found out it was a piece of dirt in the bottom of the gas tank just before the glass bowl . Just enough to slow the flow during the run. I blew air lightly in the gas line backwards into the tank and it dislodged what ever was stuck. Runs great.

Hope this helps,
Mark
