NO -- too much chance of getting it in the system. The gaskets for those parts are cheap. Either use the gasket and no sealer, or a thin coat of copper coat on the gasket.

They are a thin paper type material, some people make their own, but there are many types of gasket material, I would much rather buy them.

The pressure is too high for cork. Try thin paper gasket material, about twice as thick as a sheet of paper. All your surfaces surfaces have to be quite flat. I'd try mail order or ordering on-line to get an IH gasket.

Definitely do NOT use cork. Cork is for valve covers, and possibly oil pans. If you are not in a hurry, order your gaskets from cngco.com, a Case-IH dealer.
