Have a 1946 Farmall A, with good rubber to sell. Have an offer "as is" from hobbiest(offerer describes condition as "fair"). Good work history but has been garaged and idle for 2 years. Has great restoration potential. What should it bring? Appreciate!!

It is going to be hard for anyone to tell you that without looking at the tractor. If it will not crank up and run your chances for getting a good price will drop drastically. Dents in the sheet metal will also drop value tremendously also. If the tires have good tread it will help. Sorry but this is really all can be said about price of one of these old IRONS.

Am pretty sure it will crank up. The sheetmetal is in real good shape, no dents. Original paint is faded but not gone. The battery frame is eaten away, but other than that, no rust. No problems with transmission. Is altogether. Tractor was used but not ever abused. A dandy little rig. Still would like someone to give me their best estimate of value. Need to find it a home, but don't want to "give it away".

The tractor runs great, a little fresh fuel in the carb, a few cranks, and away it went. Still looking for a home. Even if you're not interested in buying, I'd like to hear what you think it's worth.
