CNKS Mentioned in a previous post that the Super C engine had a water pump. Was the C thermosyphon? I have a 1948 C according to all data-casting codes and serial #, and it does have a water pump. Maybe engine changed out? The tank does set down on top of the hydraulic system but seems to line up with radiator etc. Thanks, Jack

The C's are thermosyphon from the factory, but you could take it to the dealer after the Super C's came out and have a water pump installed. Hope this helps..

I think you can get a re-power kit to get the same or better out-put as a Super C.
I would have the crankshaft inspected for soundness before doing any power upgrade.
A slim possiblity is that it may have already been done.
