Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the hyd. pressure my lift has no power? I have aux valve and used a gauge and it didn't make much pressure. With a implement on back it will lift about a inch then stop I go back to center try again and it will go another inch. It dosen't bleed off overnight, any thoughts?

Are these new problems, or something that's always been that way? Have you worked on that system lately? Are your filter screens clean? Does the pump squeal or the engine labor when trying to lift the load? Does it lift fully without a load on it? If so, check your relief valve. THe spring could be weak or broken. If not, I'd remove, clean and inspect everything. It's likely blocked or worn out somewhere.

Is the relief valve about a 1 inch thick block that is in between the hand valve and the hyd reservoir? I saw no adjustment but I guess it could be a broken spring.

I haven't had it long but it has been weak a while.

Have you worked on that system lately? Yes, cleaned filter (screen)

Does the pump squeal or the engine labor when trying to lift the load? Does it lift fully without a load on it? Pump dosen't squeel engine labors a little, Yes it will lift all the way. Thanks for the reply. Mark

HI Mark!

The safety/regulater block is indeed the one between the hydraulic valve and the side of the tractor. Clean everything REALLY well, and take it off, and remove the FRONT cover plate. THere will be a pencil like screen in there. If it"s plugged, it might cause your problems. I also suspect other problems, but we can get into them after you clean that screen. Let me know what you find, and we"ll go on from there. - Ibby
