What is the correct height of a drawbar for a Farmall H? I guess I am asking what hole should I use for the 2 side straps? Thanks!!

The lower, the safer. The higher your drawbar, the greater the risk of rearward overturn when pulling.

I set mine so that they appear to be level with the rest of the tractor, this would be for general use, pulling wagons, etc. As the others have said, the height is determined by the implement you are using. If you are going tractor pulling there are rules pertaining to hitch height, you would need to get a copy of these rules from the sanctioning body or whatever.

Depends what implement you are going to pull. The drawbar is adjustable so the farmer could select the best height for the task at hand.
That said, many use the highest or next to highest setting. Pullers set theirs for best traction within the rules of their pulling association.
