My wife bought a pto shield for the M (bless her heart), but for the life of me I can't figure how to bolt it on -- there does not seem to be corresponding holes on the back of the transfer case. Another 5- minute job has turned into a headache. What am I missing?

I must complement you!! -- I've never seen a scam artist with enough guts to actually post on this forum -- you usually do business by email -- but, you might clean up your act a little bit to get better results -- a 2 year old kid would recognize you.

There should be three "ears" on the PTO housing, one at the top and one on each side that have 3/8" holes in them. This is where the seild bolts on to.

Good Luck!

Those ears sometimes get broken off, can't imagine that all of them would be gone though. Hope this is not the case.

The shield has the ears, but the back of the transfer case doesn't have holes for the 3/8th bolts. Next tractor show I'm going to have to take a close look.
