Cowman, you are going to really enjoy it. When I had my building put up about 5 years ago I debated whether to put in the concrete floor at that time or wait until I could do it without paying a visit to the bank. I decided that there would never be a better time than right now so went ahead and did it, I have never been sorry. Now all I need is an insulated ceiling.

I had some urethane stuff sprayed on the underside of my metal roof 3 years ago, hasn't fallen off yet and insulates really well. Warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Also eliminates wind noise. 30 mph in a metal building can get noisy. About $1400 for my 30x30 work area -- rest of building is not insulated.

Well, Calfkid now you need speedy dry, couple brooms, dust pan, and probably a shop vac! Just to keep it clean enough to find that little bitty nut you dropped. You won't believe how many oil leaks you can park on that new floor! Seems I spend too much time cleaning up and no it's not very clean at any given time. Enjoy the hard stuff.
