How is the choke set up on a Farmall A? I don't think the choke rod is original, so, I'm not sure how to hook it up. But the main problem is the peice of metal that connects it to the carb. How does it go on? Pictures?

Thank you!

The choke rod runs from the carb. through the air cleaner (the holes near where it bolts to the block) and has a clip that bolts to the underside of the gas tank. It is basically a piece of No. 9 wire with a right angle with pin hole on one end (carb end) and the other end is a loop. I don't know the actual length, but it reaches the battery box, I think about in the middle.
Good luck

Yeah, the one I have definatly is not original, because they added a second rod that comes over the top of the air cleaner support, then through a bracket, then I guess they added the original rod on top of that, but the real choke rod is all bent up and everything, I'll need a new one.
