I have an older IH 65 articulated diesel payloader and need manuals. I see reference made on the internet to an Hough 65C. Is there a difference? If so, what? Where would I find the serial number?
Thanks in advance, Gerry

Good Morning Gerry, --- 31 / July / 2004 ---

There isn't very much information on the IH Hough loaders. They were made at the IH Hough plant at Libertyville, Illinois. IH sold there IH crawlers and Industrail loaders to Dresser in the fall of 1972. Two or so years later Dresser sold out to another firm that went on to making "IH": "IH Dresser" products.

Would you have a SERIAL NUMBER for you "IH 65" Payloader (KIND and CODE S #) ??

Good information, Milton. Thanks. Where would I likely find the serial number? Curious why there is not much information out there. Perhaps, they did not make that many. Gerry
