Same from 706 thru 1486, gears wont interchange because of details like pitch angle 20 or 25 degree, this was running change in 56 series. 06-56 early were same, 56 late, 26, 66, 86, & 3088-3688, also 30 series 2+2.

What? Sycromesh on a big IH? Never! The only IH's that had syncros were the little British-made 74 and 84 series tractors. The big 5088, 5288, and 5488 had a syncro/partial powershift, but the 06, 26, 56, 66, and 86 series gear drives just had sliding gears for 1-4 and shift collars for High, Low, and Reverse.
