The 450 is now operational after resting for so many years. Once owned by my grandfather, this tractor was the primary power on my great-grandmother's farm in Baylor County, Texas (near Megargel). The engine in this ol' girl was stuck, fuel system gummed, TA and PTO adjustments out, fluids a mess... but now she's ready for work. Hydraulics are now fine, TA and PTO adjustment made, top end with sleeves and pistons, new PTO seal, and even the generator charges.

I just need some hydraulic hoses and install the hood, and break in the engine, then I can get some plowing done for a native grass seed bed.

Hey Red!!

Wow! Haven't laid eyes on one of those old Graham Homme's in a long time. But, I sure remember how hard they tugged. :>)

Good job in getting the old tractor going again; I agree, they should work for a minimum of at least 300 years. :>)
