Following up from the message I posted here yesterday, I went & purchased the Allis B yesterday afternoon. Got it for $500 which I feel is a good deal (my tractor parts guy in Londesboro told me that he'd give me $500 if i didnt' want it!) so I figure I can't lose! It has rear wheel weights (which I don't often see on the B's) and the tin is A1- better than any i've ever seen, so i'm looking forward to getting it home on Thursday. Kinda worried that my Farmall H might take offence to it! lol ---Jeff

Jeff, you got a great deal. I paid $300 for my C/B several years ago. It stays beside my Farmall H all the time and they don't fight or have a complex ha ha. Both run well. Have fun with it.

Jeff,
Yer da Man!
I just love hearing of someone getting old iron. Good price too. Hope it all works out well, getting good straight tin is a real bonus. I left another message for guy who's holding a '49 Cub that I would love to get my hands on for $300. I could use the belt pulley and the wheel weights, carb etc... for my '67 Loboy.

Hi Jeff, You made a wise decision, never pass a good deal on a $500.00 tractor. I purchased one 15 months ago a 39 B, A/C for $300.00, so you got a better bargain. Ontario does have an active A/C organization. If you need their address or email let me know. Cheers, Murray

Jeff: Got yourself a deal, I will up Steve's bid by a $25. I hadn't thought about it before, but Paul from MI is right a lot of similarities betwwen that Allis B and the Farmall A.
