That 444 is a diesel ? Does it have the BD154 engine ? Mine had the industrial axle which is HD and swept back, but as Hugh said I believe all of the US 444's had swept back front axles.

Very different from my US built 444. Dash layout is different. Rear fenders and rear of hood are different... hmmm

BB: That AU 444 has and interesting mix to me, coming from Canada. They are using the same sheet metal as the US built 444 and the same straight front axle as the British built 444. US built 444 had a swept back front axle. Great to see some of the differences IH used in manufacturing plants around the world. Thanks again.
