At a recent tractor pull, I noticed that an F-20 Farmall owned by my friend seemed to look different than ordinary F-20s ive seen. I own several of them and none seem to stand as tall as this one. It is a normal narrow front f-20, with rear cut-offs on 38 inch rims which cause the rear of the tractor to stand tall, but the front stands tall also with normal size front tires, there seems to be several more inches of clearance between the front tires and the frame. I would not consider it a high crop but it does seem odd to me, as i have never seen one like it. Any info would be appreciated.

My friend made one recently because he had a set of 38" rear cut offs and it did not sit straight. He added about 6-8" of spacer below the front bolster. It actually looks good.

just cut the steering bolster and add in a spacer. Notice next time you are around F-20 how much space is between the cast bolster and the front spindles. many rubber tired ones are raised 2-4 inches.

My F-20 sits just like your friends. I've wondered the same thing but have never had a chance to ask. It'll be interesting to hear what people say!!
