Is the concrete floor new? It will give off water for a long time. When I built a building, it took a year before it quit raining inside with the right weather conditions. I would vent it in or near the roof if it is a new floor.

Maybe already mentioned, squirt a little oil in through each spark plug hole and give the engine a couple turns by hand.

It would be nice if you had someone that would go and turn the motors over a few time 2 or 3 times a year. That would help a lot to keep them from sticking. I have an F-30 that sat for several years but was turned several time a year and I got it running with just a little work. Might save you a lot of work in the long run. Blocking the clutch so it will not stick is a good thing to do. Cut a block of wood to hold the pedal down just a little.

I think what youre doing to the building will be fine. You didnt mention it but make sure you havre fresh oil in the crankcase and overfill it some. Also check the tranny fluid for water and overfill it too.I dont mean by gallons just enough to allow for the little leaks that may or may not occur. I agree with blocking the clutches.

six farmalls on concrete floor, i will be gone 7 yrs if i close both ends it will make it that much harder for anyone to know what is inside- gas out, up on blocks , plugs oiled, batteries out, carbs drained , topped off with antifreeze, no tarps ,5 bags of charcole to help keep it dry, ( we used it while i was in the army-it works) covered all stacks ect with glass jars. what did i forget????? ???

Where ya headed Dennis? That's a long time to be gone. No doors or windows? Can I assume the openings are there? Open up the corners at the roof a little more if not too much trouble. You could put in louvered corner vents. Don't cover your equipment with waterproof tarps that will sweat and rain on your stuff.

Dennis....what's the floor? There is no faster way to rust equipment than to put it in an airtight shed with a dirt floor. The condensation will rust it faster than if you left it outside. If it's concrete, you are OK, but if it's dirt, I'd vent it, and then cover the floor with plastic, then park your equipment on top of that.

Take Care
Steve
